Share a Random Act of Greatness

The Random Acts of Greatness (RAOG) project relies upon you to succeed. Remember – I’m the channel; you’re the voice. Plus, I cannot reach 10,000 stories all by my lonesome. So, I’d be grateful if you’d help the quest.

There are two simple ways to do so…

1. Report a Feat of Greatness as an RAOG Scout

Have you stumbled across an article of someone or some organization performing a Random Act of Greatness? Or, did you meet a person who is pioneering a greatness project of their own?

I want to know! So simply send me an article link and/or quick blurb about what you discovered. You can reach me on Twitter, Facebook, or Email.

I’ll then research the person, organization, project, or whatever for a future RAOG publication. I’ll attribute the find back to you unless you wish me not to.

Contributing in this capacity automatically anoints you to RAOG Scout status. Yay!

Scouts live in the field performing reconnaissance ahead of the main force and reporting back valuable information. I’m deeply thankful for this service! :)

2. Write and Submit an RAOG Story

Has your life been meaningfully influenced or impacted by a Random Act of Greatness?

If it has and you wish for that moment and good deed to live forever as a force for good, then this option is perfect!

Please email me your Random Act of Greatness story!

But before you submit your story, please note these general guidelines…

Quick Guidelines for Random Acts of Greatness Stories

1. Don’t limit yourself. Random Acts of Greatness take many forms. They can be stories involving yourself, an event you witnessed, a moment you heard about, and so much more. Think far and wide!

2. Share your story even if you think you’re not a “good writer.” The Random Acts of Greatness project exists to give oxygen to anyone craving to have a voice about feats of greatness.

3. Be emotional. Share the true essence of your Random Act of Greatness story as best you can. Such great deeds are alive and fluid like a child’s imagination. Don’t hold back.

4. Be brief. I’m not asking you to write a novel here. Less is more; less is best! So keep your story between 250 and 500 words (a healthy range). Go longer if you must. But it surely isn’t necessary.

That’s it. Easy, huh?!
